Terms of Service & Engineering Disclaimer
Last Updated: September 18, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using SOLARAUDIT.ONLINE, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, please discontinue using this website and its associated calculation utilities.
2. Independent Engineering Simulation Disclaimer
The calculations, sizing estimates, battery specifications, turnkey capex figures, payback timelines, and quotation validation flags generated by SOLARAUDIT.ONLINE are provided for educational, analytical, and preliminary planning purposes only.
- On-Site Electrical Surveys: Online simulations cannot replace a physical site survey conducted by a certified electrical engineer. Variables including roof structural integrity, shading from neighboring structures, azimuth angle, ambient tilt, and internal household wiring gauge must be inspected on-site.
- Tariff Volatility: While our engine is updated for the NEPRA 2026 tariff determinations and Net-Billing guidelines, utility billing figures are subject to periodic Fuel Price Adjustments (FPA), Quarterly Tariff Adjustments (QTA), and local taxes levied by distribution companies (K-Electric, LESCO, IESCO, MEPCO, etc.).
- Hardware Pricing: Turnkey capex estimates and wholesale price-per-watt metrics reflect prevailing hardware market surveys in Karachi and Lahore and fluctuate based on currency exchange rates and import tariffs.
3. Contractor Quotation Validator & Negotiation Terms
The Contractor Quotation Validator ("BS-Detector") evaluates user-provided figures against standard wholesale hardware and labor benchmarks.
- A "Fair" rating indicates that the quotation falls within normal market installer margins in Pakistan. It does not certify the legal status, contractor reliability, or workmanship of any specific installer.
- A "Suspiciously Low" warning highlights elevated risk of substandard components (e.g., non-certified B-grade modules, CCA wiring, refurbished inverters) based on wholesale hardware cost floors.
- Consumers are solely responsible for conducting due diligence, verifying manufacturer warranties, and enforcing written contracts with their chosen installers.
4. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall SOLARAUDIT.ONLINE, its creator, or its contributors be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use this tool, contractor disputes, hardware failures, or utility billing discrepancies.
